On August 29, the steel containment shell of Sanmen Nuclear Power Unit 4 was successfully hoisted in place. This is another milestone node following the hoisting of the bottom head of the containment of Unit 4, which creates favorable conditions for the subsequent construction of the nuclear island reactor building of Unit 4. One part of this hoisting is a large and heavy module of steel containment, with a hoisting weight of more than 1000 tons, including all kinds of penetrating parts, gates, accessory plates and other components. The welding, heat treatment and non-destructive testing have a large amount of work, strict quality requirements and high construction difficulty.

On the basis of the successful placement of the first ring of the steel containment vessel of Unit 3, the project management team carried out a series of improvements and optimizations on the assembly, transportation and hoisting of the first ring of the steel containment vessel of Unit 4: first, optimizing the connection mode of the transportation anti-deformation tooling to reduce the construction difficulty; The second is to optimize the hook-off process of multi-rigging and improve the hook-off efficiency. The third is to optimize the gate surface opening process, so that the gate group is more accurate and uniform clearance; four is to optimize the heat treatment process, through the heat treatment efficiency increased by more than 2 times.

Under the unified command of the project command center (PCC), the construction team of Sanmen Nuclear Power Phase II Project practices the "six ones" integrated project management mode, overcomes unfavorable factors such as high temperature and heat, frequent typhoons, etc., vigorously cooperates and concentrates on tackling key problems, implements task inventory, and handles various tasks in a timely and efficient manner from scheme review to quality plan closure, from construction preparation to inspection and acceptance, it provides a strong guarantee for the smooth realization of this milestone node.
