Vertical Lift Check Valve

The Vertical Check Valve is an automatic valve designed to prevent reverse flow in pipeline systems. It operates using the pressure and movement of the medium itself to open and close the valve disc, requiring no external power source. Also known as a non-return valve, one-way valve, or back pressure valve, it plays an essential role in maintaining safe and stable pipeline operation by preventing backflow that may damage pumps, drive motors, or other equipment.

When the fluid flows in the specified direction, the force of the medium pushes the valve disc upward, allowing the fluid to pass smoothly through the valve. When the flow stops or reverses, the disc automatically returns to the seat due to gravity and reverse pressure from the medium. This action tightly seals the valve and effectively blocks reverse flow, ensuring reliable protection for the pipeline system.

The sealing surfaces of both the valve body and disc are hardfaced with alloy materials, providing excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and abrasion. This durable sealing design enhances reliability and ensures long-term performance even under demanding operating conditions.

To meet various pipeline requirements, the Vertical Check Valve can be supplied with different flange standards and sealing face types. This flexibility allows the valve to be easily integrated into a wide range of industrial systems, including oil, chemical, power generation, and water treatment applications.
