The Q347Y hard-seal fixed ball valve is a new generation of high-performance ball valves, specifically designed for long-distance pipelines and industrial pipelines, balancing strength, safety, and resistance to harsh operating conditions. Compared to floating ball valves, in fixed ball valves, the fluid pressure acting on the ball is entirely transmitted to the valve stem during operation, rather than pushing the ball towards the valve seat. Therefore, the valve seat does not bear excessive pressure, resulting in low torque, minimal seat deformation, stable sealing performance, and a long service life, making it particularly suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter applications.
The valve employs an advanced spring-preloaded seat assembly to achieve a self-tightening seal, allowing for sealing both upstream and downstream, and is unrestricted in installation direction. The valve body offers two-section and three-section options, with a bolted connection for the middle flange. The seat seal uses reinforced PTFE with an embedded stainless steel ring, and a spring behind the steel ring ensures a tight seal against the ball, guaranteeing a reliable seal. PTFE bearings are used on the upper and lower valve stems to reduce friction, and the ball is supported by these bearings, reducing torque and sealing load.
When the valve seat seal ring wears during use, the spring can continuously apply preload to ensure long-term sealing performance. A fire-resistant sealing ring is installed between the ball and the valve seat; in extreme high temperatures or fire conditions, the sealing ring can quickly form a metal-to-metal seal, effectively reducing leakage.
The Q347Y fixed ball valve boasts excellent performance, high reliability, and a wide range of applications. It is suitable for long-distance pipelines in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, and metallurgical industries, as well as those containing hydrogen sulfide, highly corrosive substances, or numerous impurities.
